I’ve been putting it off for far too long now. I’ve waited three and a half years and I still haven’t asked her to marry me. My mom wants to know what I’m waiting for. Her parents want to know what I’m waiting for. And well, she, she has tried to get rid of my three times just to get me to ask her.

now the real reason I was putting it off for three years was because I wasn’t sure about it. None of my friends were married. It wouldn’t have been right. But just a few months ago one of my friends got married. And two more are engaged. So for the past few months the only reason why I haven’t asked her was because I don’t have the money for a ring.
