I needed to book a flight to Sicily two weeks ago to visit my ailing mother. I had not been to Italy for a long time, and it was important to me to see a member of my family who was practically on her deathbed. I’ve been putting it off for far too long now. I’ve waited three and a half years and I still haven’t asked her to marry me. My mom wants to know what I’m waiting for. Her parents want to know what I’m waiting for. And well, she, she has tried to get rid of my three times just to get me to ask her.

now the real reason I was putting it off for three years was because I wasn’t sure about it. None of my friends were married. It wouldn’t have been right. But just a few months ago one of my friends got married. And two more are engaged. So for the past few months the only reason why I haven’t asked her was because I don’t have the money for a ring.

I was just shopping with my husband. I honestly wonder how that guy won my heart ever. Sometimes he just does the most childish stupid things. He picked up some type of cost rack. It didn’t look like any one I’d seen before, it looked ugly. I told him to put it back and he had a little hissy fit about it. Telling me he was going to get it because he wanted it.

Then he turned around with it in his hands. He knocked over a whole rack filled with those glass tubes that are supposed to smell good. And then he tried to catch himself and knocked over a section of candles. I went off on him to say the least. We’ve been having some financial troubles in the first place, and now I have to deal with this. Our credit is already bad. I tried to talk to the manager. He said I would have to pay.
