I used to have such a sweet job. I worked at a car tune up place. My job was easy. I help the engineers with anything they need and I sit behind a desk on a computer playing tetris when they don’t need me. I had the high score for tetris on several different websites and now I am arguably one of the best tetris players ever to live. I guess they decided I was dispensable. Because I got dispensed of, now I had to move back in with my dad in Sandia Heights.

I want to make something very clear, that is that this move was not my choice. I didn’t plan on moving in with my dad. In fact I did everything I could to avoid it until I couldn’t make rent and had to sublease my place. I found a new job though and I also found an apartment on Washington St. in Albuquerque. I’ve got some friends who are living with me there. I couldn’t find the money for the security deposit though.

I looked online and found that with a car title loan I would be able to afford this place right away. This is good because the landlord said someone else was interested in it. (I think they always say that) I got the money fast and all I had to do was fill out the application. They called me back for everything I needed.

I’m a little upset about my job though. There is actually no computer there. I’ll be doing construction and that’s pretty much real work.
